Terry's accession also made Jonathan [[Crown Prince]]. He additionally became the first Representative of [[Wrythe]], having been chosen for the position in an informal vote held on 20 September 2008.

			Jonathan subsequently contested the [[January 2009 Austenasian elections\|elections of 1 January 2009]] for both the premiership and the representation of Wrythe. He was the sole candidate for each office and was elected unanimously, with every eligible voter taking part. The ballots also allowed voters to support Wrythe's return to the United Kingdom instead; no votes were cast for this option.
